Golf Thoughts: How Much Is Too Much For New Clubs?

For the first time that I can recall, a major manufacturer of golf equipment has shattered the glass ceiling and come out with an iron that has a $500 list price. Now that isn't a SET of irons that cost $500, but it's one club! Yes, $500 drivers are becoming the norm, but how much should you spend on a new club or a new bag? Here are my thoughts on the issue, but what do you think?
